FileBatchSupport
Choose files on a page and download them together to a folder you select.
Get started
- Enable FileBatch in Safari Settings on Mac, or Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions on iPhone and iPad. Allow access to the page you want to scan.
- Open the page in Safari, open FileBatch from the extensions menu and choose Find files on this page. On iPhone or iPad, open the FileBatch app after scanning to review the list.
- Search or filter the list, explicitly select files, choose a folder and start Download. For images, choose Original, PNG or JPEG. Keep FileBatch running until the queue finishes; on iPhone and iPad, keep it in the foreground.
Supported pages and limits
FileBatch scans only links and images already loaded on the current page. It supports public direct HTTPS files, including documents, images and audio. Links with an unknown type are listed separately. It does not transfer a Safari login session, create files from forms, follow the whole site or download blob addresses. Audio stays in its original format.
Up to three downloads run at once. A file is limited to 512 MB. PNG/JPEG conversion supports images up to 20 MB and 12 megapixels, exports one frame and uses a white background for JPEG. Technical limits apply to every user.
If something goes wrong
If a file is missing, load it on the page and scan again. A button that creates a file after a form submission is outside the supported direct-link workflow.
If a download fails, check internet access, the link and permission to write to the chosen folder. Expired signed links need a fresh scan. A login or error page is not a successful download. Retry failed files from the queue; duplicate names receive a numeric suffix.
