PageShotPrivacy Policy
PageShot captures and assembles the current page on your device. Screenshots and page titles are not uploaded to the developer.
What the extension accesses
Only when you start a capture, PageShot reads the current tab’s displayed pixels and page title. It temporarily adjusts supported page styles and scroll position for capture, then restores them. Safari permissions control access to the chosen page.
Processing and network requests
PageShot does not reopen the address in a separate browser or upload page content, frames or images. No developer server, analytics, advertising, tracking or account is used. The original page can still load its own resources, including images loaded while scrolling.
Local storage, files and clipboard
Capture frames, job information, the page title and the assembled image are stored temporarily on your device while the preview is open. Close clears the preview job; cancellation or error removes partial work. Temporary jobs older than ten minutes are removed when a new capture starts. The image is saved to a file only when you choose Save PNG and copied to the clipboard only when you choose Copy.
Your choices
Cancel capture at any time, close the preview, revoke website access in Safari settings or uninstall the app. Files you save and clipboard content are managed by your system; saved images remain until you delete them.
