FocusTubePrivacy Policy
FocusTube keeps its settings and page changes on your device. It does not collect your viewing or search activity.
What the extension accesses
The content script adjusts the visibility of recognized elements on the supported YT web pages. It does not collect browsing history, watch history, search queries, video titles or account identifiers. It does not access cookies.
Processing and network requests
FocusTube does not send page content or settings to the developer and makes no extension-originated network requests. No developer server, analytics, advertising, tracking or account is used. The underlying video website continues to handle its own requests and data under its own policies.
Local storage, files and clipboard
Only enabled state, mode and pause end time are saved in the extension’s local settings. The pause is checked again when the page loads or you return to Safari. No viewing history or content archive is stored.
Your choices
Change modes, pause for 15 minutes, turn the extension off or revoke website access in Safari settings. You can uninstall the app at any time.
This website and support requests
This policy describes the app and its Safari extension. Visiting this support website is separate. The website host may process ordinary request data needed to serve these pages. If you contact support, we use the information you provide to answer your request.
We will update this policy if the app’s data practices change. Effective October 2, 2026.
