Follow these steps to install TabCaptain and give the extension the Safari access required for tab management.

1. Get TabCaptain

Download TabCaptain from the Mac App Store, then open the app on a Mac running macOS 12.0 or later.

2. Turn on the extension

Open Safari Settings, choose Extensions, and enable TabCaptain.

3. Add it to the toolbar

Right-click the Safari toolbar, choose Customize Toolbar, and drag the TabCaptain icon into place.

4. Open the tab manager

Click the TabCaptain toolbar icon. When Safari asks for website access, allow the access needed for site icons and tab controls. TabCaptain does not read passwords or form fields.
