Safari Tab Groups are live workspaces
A Safari Tab Group is a named collection managed inside Safari. It is appropriate for a project, trip or recurring subject that should remain available as part of the browser's normal organization.
Because the group remains live, changing its tabs changes the working collection. That differs from taking a snapshot before a cleanup or context switch.
TabCaptain sessions are restorable snapshots
A TabCaptain session records a set of tab addresses so its pages can be opened again later. Sessions are useful before closing a large workspace, restarting a task or separating current work from material that should be put aside.
Sessions are stored locally and require Lifetime Premium. Restoring a session reopens pages; websites still control logins, unsaved drafts, playback positions and other temporary state.
Use the smallest system that fits
Do not turn every page into a permanent group or save every piece of clutter as a session. Remove disposable pages and duplicates first, then preserve only the collection that has a clear future purpose.
